An important message [Updated 19th July]
Dear Church Family,
In the last four months our world has been changed in lots of ways - it has been a shaking to cause us to awaken. You can read more on this here.
When we cannot gather as we used to, there is a ‘re-set.’ We listen to the wisdom of health advisers and, of course, the Government’s laws and guidance. But we move forward only as directed by the Holy Spirit. The key question is “What is God saying?”
The Lord has spoken to us so much over the last few weeks about a new season, and ‘New wineskins,’ including through Joshua chapter 1 and Isaiah 43:18-19.
Working with the Leadership Team, Trustees and other key teams we have decided we will not meet as gathered church on Sundays until the New Year - but we will start to meet in small groups from September in person wherever it is safe and practical. This will give opportunities to share our vision and discuss the new ways of being church together with the whole church family.
We want to be a disciple making family. And the new ways of being church are - in fact - rediscovering the old ways. They are the ‘ancient paths’ we see in the Early Church in the New Testament, applied in our context today.
So I am inviting all the church family to move forward together over the next few months, into what God is doing in this new season.
From the All Nations Leadership Team:
What are we doing during the next few months?
We will continue to broadcast Sunday services via Live Stream, for our campuses as well as our Wolverhampton hub. And our main means of connecting with one another is in our Life Groups.
Please click here to engage with our Sunday service live at 10:30am and available on YouTube afterwards.
Please stay in touch with your Campus Pastor or Life Group leaders. If you are not in a life group please click here to leave your contact details and one of our leaders will be in touch.
If you have any question, comments or concerns, please contact us at email@example.com
We will be in contact with everyone connected with All Nations to involve various teams and ultimately everyone in conversations starting in September, for vision and discussion.
For the time being, we are broadcasting Sunday services via live stream.
Please click here to watch our Sunday service from 10:30am onwards each Sunday.
Our church building will remain closed on Sundays until further notice, this also includes our Frontline Kids work and all other meetings or events.
If you are not in a life group please go to www.allnations.org.uk/lifegroups to leave your contact details and one of our leaders will be in touch.
Your giving can now be done online at allnations.org.uk/giving - we would encourage you to consider making your giving by standing order.
Life Groups are a key way of being church, developing community and reaching out to those around us.
Now - for a season - they will be the only way of being church. This could be God’s way of making us more Revival Ready!
So what will Life Groups do?
Pray and ask God for creative ways of connecting with one another in smaller groups or in gardens, even if not all together in a house.
Increase contact by phone, WhatsApp etc so that people are in touch almost every day with one another for support, prayer, sharing prayer requests and encouragement.
Be creative in caring for friends, neighbours and colleagues - this could be the greatest opportunity we ever have to show love and proclaim the gospel.
We want to pray without ceasing throughout this time!
We are praying from our own homes rather than gathering in the Prayer Hub.
With prayer leaders following their normal times within their own homes and new people committing to prayer times too, we now cover 24-7.
Please go to www.allnations.org.uk/prayer for information and if you would like to connect with others in praying please text +44 7451 289 868
Please feed any testimonies and prophetic words onto the WhatsApp group for the day or to firstname.lastname@example.org
Let’s fill with city with Houses of Prayer!
Friday night meetings all together will therefore be postponed until further notice.
Our Frontline Youth leaders will continue to be in touch with the youth by social media - or you can contact the team by email@example.com
Our GEM congregation will continue the various activities and gatherings online and in small groups where it is safe to do so.
