Listening in lockdown - some prophetic words for All Nations 2
During the last few weeks there has been an increase in the number and clarity of prophetic words, dreams and visions coming out of times of prayer - “prayer hub at home!”
Towards the end of May Dishi felt the Lord saying:
This is the time for each person and for families to become “fire starters” in prayer in their homes.
It is time to
- switch on the lights so others can see who you are;
- connect with the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit to usher in the presence of God.
Every home can become church. God is raising up a praying generation: generations praying together in their homes!
In early June Dishi wrote:
In my prayer time I heard the words,
“It’s a season of change: don’t be afraid but trust in Me.
Do not get weary in this season. Gal 6:9 Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up.
I am doing a new thing.
It is a season of outpouring - humble yourselves and repent and I will make you a pathway for my Holy Spirit. Make space for me to come.
It is a season to listen, to become ready, purified, become living stones, 1 Peter 2.5 …you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
It is a season to write down the vision for direction and make it plain." Habakkuk 2.2 Write the vision, make it plain on tablets, so they may run who read it.
Remember in a shipwreck the captain gives orders to throw overboard excess baggage - not people. God treasures people, relationships more than vision.
The Captain throws down lifeboats so none will perish. Little boats carry people to safety, not the big ship - do we have enough lifeboats?
On another recent occasion, while Catherine was praying for nations, Dishi heard cries for help: Mayday, Mayday, Mayday!
There is a strong sense that the world around us is in trouble - people are calling for help - and we need to become Revival Ready! Homes that become houses of prayer and worship and centres of community and relationship are key.
