Why Home Church?

We have been on a journey as a church family over the last two years, listening to and obeying what God has been saying to us. In 2020 we felt God say that as a church, we were not obeying the Great Commission that King Jesus had given us. He commanded that we make disciples.

Our heart as a church family is to be disciples who make disciples. We want to be a New Testament people who obey the Holy Spirit in both our large and our smaller gatherings, whether that be in homes, communities, work places or schools. We desire to see the Kingdom of God break out wherever we are.

Other ways to get involved

Training

Sign up to Storehouse for free resources on disciple making and church planting.

Prayer Hub

You can also join our Prayer Hub, praying for our communities, city and nations. We pray 24/7 in a number of teams in our own homes! To find out more, click on the button below.

Disciple Making

Smaller gatherings in homes throughout the city or community centres. You can meet others for coffee, build relationships and invest in your local community.

Prayer Walk

Gathering in 2s or 3s with people from your community and prayer walking through your neighbourhood, looking for opportunities to engage with neighbours.

Discovery Bible Study (DBS)

Doing a Discovery Bible Study (DBS) with others is a really effective way of allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to us through the Word. This can be done in pairs or small groups.

These are the 4 key questions for a DBS:
1) What does this passage teach us about God?
2) What does this passage teach us about people?
3) What should you do this week in response to the passage?
4) Who should you share it with this week?

THEREFORE GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES...

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

MATTHEW 28:18-20
