On the move

Our theme this year in All Nations is Revival Ready and Ps Steve has often referred to the change of season we are sensing. Friday 7th Feb 2020 was a very significant day in the life of All Nations, a day when important preparations were made to be Revival Ready.

The Fuel the Fire days are always a mix of a family celebration, encountering God in worship/prayer and inspiring preaching.  This one was no exception.

But in addition, over 20 churches or campuses were recognised as being part of the family and Ps Steve and others prayed prophetically over them - the All Nations Movement is now more publicly and more clearly ‘on the move!’

Ps Steve began the day with a call to radical advance of the Kingdom, reading and commenting on a number of scriptures, mainly from the book of Acts.  “The Holy Spirit needs to run through all of our lives whatever we are doing,” he said.  “We do not switch our brains off and ‘follow the Spirit’ - we keep our brains actively involved but live in the Spirit, led by the Spirit.”

He called to the platform the key leaders of the various churches and campuses represented and referred to two others that could not be present.  Each gave a short explanation why being part of the All Nations Movement is important to them.  One theme kept coming through - a sense of ‘family’ in All Nations.  The word “family” is probably the best explanation or summary of the Movement!

Then Ps Steve together with Ps Tope Koleoso (Jubilee Church London), Ps Duane White (The Bridge Church, Denton, Texas) and Ps Tony Wastall (LifeSpring, Wolverhampton) prayed for them and for the Movement.

It was a prophetic and significant time.  One thing that was declared prophetically is that Ps Steve and the Movement do not need to copy any other apostolic network or ministry, but are free to discover a unique and fresh way of being an apostolic family.  In fact it is important to learn from the wisdom of others but not to copy.

Pss Tope and Duane preached outstanding messages and some very similar themes came through - even though none of the speakers had discussed anything of what they planned to bring!  At one point, Duane White had us all laughing as he read from his notes almost word for word some things Tope Koleoso had said earlier.

It was a stirring occasion.  Many people encountered God in fresh ways and were filled again with the Spirit.

However, perhaps the most important thing in the day was the sense of Spirit-led movement as the All Nations Movement emerges.  We are privileged to be part of what God is doing, which has the potential to transform many situations in the UK and across the world.
