Kingdom Expansion- Immeasurably More

As we step into 2025, our theme for the year—Kingdom Expansion: Immeasurably More—calls us to align our hearts and lives with the eternal purposes of God’s Kingdom. In a world dominated by earthly kingdoms, fleeting power, and temporary pursuits, we are reminded that God’s Kingdom stands apart. It is unshakable, eternal, and advancing through the lives of His people.

This year, Ephesians 3:16-21 serves as our key scripture:

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power

through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your

hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in

love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp

how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know

this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure

of all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or

imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in

the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and

ever! Amen.’

This passage invites us to fix our eyes on God’s Kingdom, to rely on His power, and to be agents of expansion in a world longing for true hope.

Expansion Begins with God.

The Kingdom of God is unlike any earthly kingdom. It doesn’t rely on human strength, political systems, or cultural trends. Its foundation is God Himself— His love, power, and eternal purpose. Out of His glorious riches, He strengthens us through His Spirit. It is not by our efforts but by His power that the Kingdom advances.

As we reflect on this truth, let’s turn our attention away from the shifting kingdoms of this world. They rise and fall, but God’s Kingdom endures forever. In 2025, let’s commit to being a people who depend on His strength and seek His Kingdom above all else.

Expansion Involves You

Jesus taught that the Kingdom of God is within us: “The Kingdom of God is in your midst” (Luke 17:21). It starts with God’s Spirit transforming our hearts— aligning our desires, priorities, and actions with His will.

Ephesians 3 reminds us that as we are rooted and established in love, we begin to grasp the depth of Christ’s love and are filled with the fullness of God. This personal transformation is the starting point for Kingdom expansion. As we allow God to reign in our lives, His Kingdom breaks through, touching those around us.

Expansion Reaches Beyond Us

The Kingdom of God is not confined to the individual; it is meant to spread to the ends of the earth. Jesus’ commission to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19) calls us to look beyond our own lives and embrace His vision for the world.

The kingdoms of this world seek power, wealth, and influence. God’s Kingdom, in contrast, is marked by humility, love, and sacrificial service. As we step into this year, we are called to be ambassadors of this Kingdom, bringing hope, healing, and transformation to a broken world.

Immeasurably More

Ephesians 3:20 declares that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. This year, let’s dream bigger for God’s Kingdom. Let’s believe for personal transformation, community impact, and global revival. The Kingdom of God is advancing, and we are invited to be part of His eternal story.

Let’s fix our eyes on Jesus our King and commit to expanding His Kingdom— not our own, not the world’s, but His—knowing that His power is at work within us and His glory will endure forever.
